Pyoro is a little bird with a frog like
tongue, which is used to catch and eat plants that fall from the sky. The
objective is to catch all plants falling down, using Pyoros tongue to eat
them. If the plants hit the ground, that part of the surface disappears, and
even worse, should a plant hit Pyoro, he dies!
As the plants fall down faster and in
larger volumes it is up to you to catch as many as you can, without getting
killed, and as more plants hit the ground, you will have less and less space to
move, making the task that much harder. How long can you survive the relentless
barrage of falling plants?
Pyoro is a simple game, which is played
entirely on your keyboard. Use the left and right arrow keys to move Pyoro,
while pressing the spacebar unleashes Pyoros giant tongue. Pyoro can’t jump so
when pieces of the surface disappear from being hit by falling plants you get
stuck between the missing pieces, making catching all the plants much harder,
and dodging them even more, and you have to take into account that every plant
you dodge, takes a part of the surface, making the moving space even tighter!
This simple objective, is a basic
ingredient of many survival games, and like most of them Pyoro possesses the
addictive quality that makes you want to keep playing it, to make that high
score just that little higher, because that is the true objective as survival
is ultimately not an option. In Pyoro, the question is how long can you survive
for, not if you can survive, because in the end the computer always wins.
Pyoro is a simple game, with basic, yet
effective graphics and sounds. It is suitable for all ages and will keep you
coming back for more, time and time again!
