Puncho Puncho is a fast paced action game, where you have to punch flowers to make them spit out seeds. Those seeds you have to catch and bring to the designated starting point. If you fail to catch them they fall to smithereens on the ground. Once you have collected enough seeds you then move on to the next level.
To make matters worse, after completing level one, which functions as a training level to get into the feel of the game, you are followed by little bugs, that will blow up when you touch them, damaging you, and if that is not enough to keep you focused there is a time limit for each level you have to complete.
These bugs will come at you and keep coming at you at any time, so dodging them while collecting the seeds becomes harder at every level, how far can you go?
Puncho Puncho is played using the arrow keys on your keyboard to move, “S” to jump and “A” to punch. While punching the plants, while avoiding the bugs, plants occasionally spit out power ups instead of seeds, making you invincible, blow up the entire field or increase the strength of your punches, so you can punch out the bugs as well. However, keep in mind that these powerups only work for a short period, after which you are as vulnerable again as ever.
Puncho Puncho is a fun game that will keep you entertained for a long time, and even though the game may sound violent from the description above, it is graphically done in such a fashion that it is all harmless fun, which makes this game also suitable for the younger gamers playing the game.
While Puncho Puncho is perhaps not the most beautiful game graphically it is effective for its purpose, and overall a lot of fun to play!
